Acceptance Profile
Prior to initiating a shipment to Reco, approval must be obtained from Reco using one of the forms listed below. The generator of the material must represent to Reco the constituents of materials destined for treatment/recycling. Additionally all material received by Reco must be certified as non-hazardous. Three separate profile forms have been established to provide accurate representation of waste. The form(s) also provide information to Reco regarding waste generation location, generator information, billing and contact person(s). This information allows Reco to provide you with the most accurate manifest and bill of lading data.
If you have questions on how to complete any of the forms, please call us at 804.644.2800.
Soil Data Certification Sheet (SDCS)

This form is used to demonstrate characterization of petroleum contaminated soil. In addition to the submittal of a completed SDCS form, analytical data sufficient to demonstrate non hazardous characterization is required. Analytical required include TPH or 8015 DRO/GRO for soil contaminated with known source virgin petroleum. For soils contaminated with petroleum from other than known source virgin petroleum, analytical requirements include TOX, BTEX, and total metals in addition to TPH. Additional analytical may be required on a case by case basis to allow certification of material as non hazardous. Drummed, containerized, and bulk materials may be profiled with the SDCS.
Non-Hazardous Waste Profile Summary (NHWP)

This form is used for all other material accepted for Reco where the SDCS or MDCS are not used IE: diesel fuel waste streams and petroleum contaminated debris. Analytical data sufficient to certify material as non hazardous is required. On a case by case basis, generator knowledge may be sufficient to certify material(discarded commercial products, off spec oils, virgin spill debris etc.) Drummed, containerized, and bulk materials may be characterized with the non-hazardous waste profile per our permit.
Material Data Certification Sheet (MDCS)

This form is used for gasoline and gasoline/water mixtures destined for recycling at RECO. As only virgin gasoline or gasoline water mixtures are accepted for recycling, no analytical data is required for these streams. Gasoline is accepted for recycling where contaminants (solids, scale, water, color) have rendered the material no longer suitable for use. As the gasoline is recycled through our process. shipments are classified as a D.O.T. hazardous material, not a hazardous waste. Drummed, containerized, and bulk materials may be characterized with the MDCS.
